About the Presenters
Stacey Wedding - NevadaGIVES Board Member, Chair of Nevada's Big Give
Founder & CEO, Professionals in Philanthropy, LLC
Stacey's commitment to making our community and state the best it can be is seen in both her professional and personal engagement. She founded her business, Professionals in Philanthropy, LLC, seven years ago, which builds the capacity of nonprofits and philanthropies of all sizes. Stacey's company donates 10% of its annual revenues to charity each year, and her small but mighty team volunteers more than 1500 hours annually. In addition to her role chairing Nevada's Big Give and serving on the NevadaGIVES Board, Stacey also serves as a mentor to newly diagnosed Type 1 diabetic children and their family, an Industry Veteran for Project WE, a Program Committee member of AFP-Las Vegas, and a volunteer speaker for We R Community. She graduated summa cum laude of the UNLV Honors College where she received a degree in Communications.
Brian Knudsen - NevadaGIVES Board Member
Corporate Engagement Chair of Nevada's Big Give City of Las Vegas
Brian is actively engaged in the Southern Nevada community through his professional career working in the City of Las Vegas Manager's Office in which he serves as a liaison with the non-profit and education community. Brian also focuses personal time on supporting volunteerism and philanthropy efforts in Southern Nevada through such projects as Nevada's Big Give and community building projects with employees of the City of Las Vegas. Brian is a graduate of the University of Southern California's MPA program and also holds a Masters Degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in Educational Leadership. Brian joined the NevadaGIVES board in 2012.
